Naspli! Enjoy St Joseph’s Day

Unfortunately I have not been able to prepare some zeppoli today but I did manage to find some of these wonderful fruit in my local Mediterranean/Middle Eastern store. Known to us as naspli! They are a wonderful fruit. You may also have heard of them as medlars or loquats. We had a few trees at home and we used to love eating them. I hope you manage to try some of these. Eaten whole, they are wonderful!
